Who we are

Resin Home Decor (“we”, “us”) operates https://resinhomedecor.com, an online storefront for handmade coastal art. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Order information — name, email, shipping address and order contents when you check out. Collected so we can fulfil and insure your order.
  • Custom order requests — name, email, country, budget, colours, description and inspiration photos you upload, used solely to design your commission.
  • Newsletter subscriptions — your email address, used only to send the monthly newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Account data — if you create an account (Phase 2 feature), we store the credentials you provide via our auth provider.
  • Usage data — anonymous, aggregated analytics via Vercel Analytics (no personal identifiers, no cookies for tracking).

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy and security standards (PCI DSS).

Images

Inspiration photos you upload for custom orders are stored on Vercel Blob and used only to design your commission. We may ask your permission before sharing any imagery publicly — we will never do so without asking.

Cookies & storage

Our storefront works as a guest — your cart and wishlist are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to us. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Where applicable, you also have the right to object to processing and the right to portability.

Data retention

Order records are kept for the period required by law and for warranty/returns purposes. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. Custom order requests are deleted one year after the project concludes, unless you ask us to keep them.
